Dustbowl® can be switched immediately from a splash-like cymbal hybrid to an instant crasher by dropping it onto any cymbal over 12" and playing the cymbal as usual. The crasher mode works especially well on hi hats. Try dropping Dustbowl® onto a snare You may also try whacking Dustbowl® directly for a nasty crasher sound. Some think the crasher mode of Dustbowl® used on drums gives an almost electronic sound to drums.
