Dustbowl® brand combines a suspended cymbal and an instant crasher to form a radical new hybrid. Hang them for a crystal clear splash sound, then drop them INSTANTLY onto a regular crash, ride or Hi Hat to allow an aggressive, sizzling crasher sound.

- Drop onto Hi-hats, drums, or crashes for instant crasher FX. Changes in 1 or 2 seconds -fast enough to change mid-song.

Dustbowl®
Dustbowl® can be switched immediately from a splashlike cymbal hybrid to an instant crasher by dropping it onto any cymbal over 12" and playing the cymbal as usual or whacking Dustbowl® directly for a nasty crasher sound. The crasher mode works especially well on high-hats. Try dropping Dustbowl® onto a tom or snare. If you use Dustbowl® on a tom, the tom will need to tilt a bit flatter than usual or Dustbowl® can slide off. Some think the crasher mode of Dustbowl™ used on drums gives an almost electronic sound to drums.
